Count the ways...

I mentioned a few days ago that there is a movement afoot that would ban a multitude of guns. So, let's take my favorite rifle, and count the number of proposed "evil features!" I will post a picture of my rifle, useful for competition shooting, hunting, plinking (recreational shooting), fighting against government tyranny, personal protection, and many other legal activities. Then, we will list the evil features proposed by the ban, and see how many my rifle has in its possession.

Without further ado, let us commence with the liberal's pants-wetting!

My AR15, dressed as an M16A4 clone:

Evil features:
- Pistol grip (check)
- Bayonet mount (check) - under the barrel, just in front of the sling. Yes, that little nub of metal.
- Flash suppressor (check)
- Threaded muzzle to accept a flash suppressor (check)
- Attachment point for grenade launcher (check under the new ban - the quad rail)
- Rocket launcher attachment point (check under the new ban - the quad rail)
- Detachable magazine (check)
- 30-round magazine (check!)
- Forward grip (check x2 - the literal grip in front of the magazine, as well as the quad rail)
- Folding or telescoping stock (check*)

* Although this rifle does not currently have a telescoping stock, it can accept one, and the wording of the proposed ban would include it for this reason, as well as all of the above mentioned reasons.
