Calvinism is not Biblical Doctrine. It's a human
philosophy that appeals to proud-minded individuals.
Irresistible Grace:
The concept that since God predestined whom would be saved, He has to soften our heart. This is codependent on the idea that man is totally depraved (false), and completely unable to choose God (false). Of course, if you believe the two lies, then this is a necessary step.
For those of us with a brain and the ability to read the Bible, what we find is a gift that God has offered us all. His Grace is that gift. The Lord calls us all. Some deny Him, some accept Him. Most of us deny Him before we accept Him.
So who gets the Grace? The whosoever that believe.
So we see that once again, the Calvinist belief is not right. The opposite is not true, either. It is so totally off base so as to be completely asinine.
