Age is no guarantee of wisdom. This has been made apparent to me recently. These conversations with persons over the age of 65 left me scratching my head - Senior Female - "I'll vote for Trump, but he needs to settle down and act his age. And he needs to stop saying all these negative things about women!" Me - "What has he said about women?" SF - "Just mean things. But now, the media says he says racist things, but he doesn't. The media lies." Me - "So when the media says Trump is a racist, they are lying, but when they say Trump says mean things about women they are telling the truth?" SF - dumbfounded look. ----- Senior Male - "I believe of the two major candidates, Hillary would be less destructive to our way of life." Me - "Sir, you were in the Army, correct? (He nods to the affirmative) I believe Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods might disagree if they were still alive to do so." S...

From a liberal on Facebook who knowingly attends a church where the pastor is decidedly conservative: I'm tired of the message that being a liberal makes me a bad Christian OR that being a Christian makes me a bad liberal. I adore my church, the people and my pastor. But I have to say it's getting really old to hear him spew the word liberal like its dirty. I wonder sometimes does he even realize he has liberals in his congregation. People who are working for his church. People who trust him and love what has been built. It's really heartbreaking. So after reading this, and with the knowledge that this person has attended the church in question for nearly a year, we can safely conclude that one of two simple things is true. Either - A . Last night, I mentioned in closing that most polls had Trump winning the debate to the tune of about 60%. Several friends and readers asked where I got that number. I first saw about 61% Trump on a poll by WKRN News 2 - the ABC affiliate in Nashville, TN. But these other sources were readily available this morning. As you can see, most have Trump between 55% and 60%. Not bad for a man who was outnumbered about 5 to 1. Who are the five? The moderator, and Hillary's four staffers on the other end of her earpiece. That's why she would delay during her answers.

Notes on the debate tonight. Wasn't going to do one of these, but a good friend asked, and so here it is! I'd say she owes me one, but with all the kindness she's shown our family recently, I still owe her a couple. First thoughts - the media. During the debate the "moderator" kept interrupting Trump, but only rarely Clinton. If you really, truly are undecided, you must take note of this. You must ask why the media feels it necessary to protect her. And what happens to America when they stop protecting her? Similarly, the post-debate shows were ablaze with attempts to put a positive spin on what Clinton said; and trying to mischaracterize what Trump has said. Why must they lie about him? Why must they try to re-emphasize the points they wanted her to make? Thought - the three laws. Remember, Social Justice Warriors and liberals, by default, follow the three laws: 1. Always Lie. 2. If you listen to the media, they would have you believe Trump has meltdowns and is rude and crude. The reality of it isnthis: Trump does not tolerate lies and disrespect from the media. He engages them when they lie and demonstrate disrespect. On the other side of the coin, Hillary is throwing tantrums. She tries to have people fired, she's had others killed. She throws things.
