End of an Error?

Image
Seen on social media. In case Blogger inexplicably deletes the image like they do so often, it is Trump, Vance, and their wives waving goodbye to Biden's helicopter. The caption states: "January 20, 2025 END OF AN ERROR" While I get the sentiment, the statement here is misleading.  It was not an error - it was theft . There is a big difference. The error, if any, is that we did not push back on the cheating hard enough.

On Trump's Pardons

Seen on that wonderful place we call Reddit: "Conservatives, how do you feel about Donald Trump pardoning Jan 6 rioters that physically assaulted police officers?" In a court of law, the opposing counsel would object, citing "facts not in evidence."  To put it another way:  There was no riot.  Nobody assaulted police officers.  The only injury that occurred was when the POS, Lieutenant Michael Byrd, shot and killed Ashli Babbitt. Therefore, to answer the click-bait question: I am GLAD that Trump pardoned the protesters. I know of several who were recipients of the pardon. It was lawfare, plain and simple. The stroke of the pen by Trump ended this lawfare.  I'm also endlessly glad Trump pardoned the abortion protesters.

Sad News

Recently learned my friend and fellow firearms instructor, David White, has passed after a brief battle with cancer. Here is his obituary .  When someone I know passes, I prefer to remember good times:  David helped me as an assistant instructor in firearms classes on more than one occasion.  --- Here is a testimonial by David.  --- When David and I were becoming NRA certified pistol instructors (this is where we met), he did not pass the shooting portion on the first try. You are allowed a retry, and that was held at the end of the final day of the class. I lent him my .22 caliber Browning target pistol. He was amazed that I would loan him a firearm after knowing him only 2 days, but I could tell right away that he had a heart of gold. I received a text message from him moments after I arrived home: "I PASSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEDDDDDDDD!!!!!" He returned the pistol that day - bringing it to my residence as we had determined we lived in fairly close proximity.  --- O...

The Problem With Many Modern Women

Image
Seen on X, from Richard Cooper - here, pasted text in case Blogger inexplicably deletes the image as they have done so many times in the past: "In the not so distant past, she was wifey material if she was: A virgin Tattoo free  Had good family  Feminine  Under 25  Religious  Had homemaking skills  Agreeable  Could cook & clean  Wanted his children  Most brides today are none of those things." Here we will give an example of what most modern women are like in italics below Cooper's list of marriageable qualities.  Marriageable qualities vs. Reality: A virgin Been with 100+ men (whatever number they tell you, multiply it by 9, at the least.)  Tattoo free  Many tattoos.  Had good family  Comes from single mother only home where the mother did not allow the father into the children's lives.  Feminine  Feminist Under 25  Over 30, with declining fertility.  Religious  "Spiritual" (meaning wil...

Follow Up on Carry Insurance - 2

In yesterday's article, questions were raised about the YouTube channels that ditched USCCA in favor of presumably the money from "Attorneys on Retainer." Today, we focus on the error of that choice.  First , the founder of AOR is Marc Victor. Here is a video that details a few of the troubles with him. This website has most , if not all the same quotes used in the video. From the website: Victor believes in gun restriction laws, even if temporary (sounds a lot like red flag laws) - "As a criminal defense attorney for over twenty-five years, I’ve personally witnessed prohibited possessor laws indeed keep guns out of the hands of some such people (those that "violate" or "might violate" Victor's "Live and Let Live philosophy). That fact alone makes the effort worthwhile." Victor believes in requiring "competency" to own firearms - "However, reasonable people could also argue a gun safety class ought to be required to e...

Follow Up on Carry Insurance 1

Last week, this blog had two articles on some disturbing advertisements put out against the USCCA and in favor of Attorneys on Retainer. Why does this blog characterize them as disturbing? Because although speech is free, part of what is protected by free speech is false speech. And it is this author's opinion that AOR was attacking USCCA with false allegations, disguised as "making an argument," in order to take market share by way of selling their "protection packages."  Some have said that the questions raised by this author suggested a possible relationship between the gun channel YouTubers. More than one comment on YouTube, and more than one email sent to this author accused that possible relationship. Well, let's clear the air.  The gun channel YouTubers who were observed to fall into the pattern of saying the same thing at about the same time (except Heavy Duty Country, who started almost a year prior to the others) were: Heavy Duty Country (exception...

Pardon Me

Joe Biden will hold a record - most pardons issued. Of course, in late 2024, he pardoned his son, as well as issuing many other controversial pardons.  A few days before he left office, Biden commuted the sentences of some 2500+ "nonviolent" drug offenders. Or at least that is what is being reported. It will not surprise this author if those clemencies include some very controversial decisions, as well.  And, on his final day in office, Biden pardoned General Mark Milley, Dr. Anthony Fauci, and the felonious members of the J6 investigation committee. In his final hours, Biden pardoned members of his family: brothers and some inlaws.  Of course, the Supreme Court has ruled that a pardon carries an "imputation of guilt" and accepting a pardon is "an admission of guilt" (Burdick).  We know what the J6 committee, General Milley, and Dr. Fauci did. Those are fairly public knowledge. What did Biden's family do?

Oh What A Glorious Day

What a day today shall be! Hey, libs, know what?  If you hadn't been so insistent on s-t-e-a-l-i-n-g the 2020 election, then today would be the last day of Trump as your President.  Instead, you will have him as your President for four more GLORIOUS years.

Latest Debate on Carry Insurance - 2

"It is easier to fool people, than to convince them that they have been fooled." - Mark Twain From yesterday's article ... Many people have left comments on my YouTube video on the topic. You can tell that many bought into the fabrications being told, hook, line, and sinker. Among the funnier replies, and corrections to same in italics : "Insurance companies don't make money paying out on claims. That's all I need to know." (Author's note: there were many comments that were substantially similar to this one) And you think lawyers selling prepaid legal make money by going to trial on these agreements???  "The bottom line is this: It is insurance, and exclusions apply. If there is any sniff or question about whether it was a good shoot, USCCA will not cover it." And lawyers will make good on it??? "So channels that are now with AOR are not to be believed because they all made statements against USCCA but you being with USCCA are credib...

Latest Debate on Carry Insurance - 1

Over the last few days / weeks, several YouTube gun channels have announced they are parting ways with the USCCA. This made me take notice, because I am a USCCA member, and a USCCA partner. For clarity, I am a USCCA partner, since 2019. I receive a small amount of a finder’s fee when one of their reps is permitted to present at one of my classes. I do not partner with USCCA because I make hundreds of thousands in referral fees…I partner with USCCA because I believe in the product and I believe it is needed.  Also for the record, I am a licensed P&C agent. I have worked in insurance since 2006. I researched policy language for USCCA, US Law Shield, and CCW Safe prior to reaching out to any of them for partnership. And that’s the other thing: they didn’t reach out to me first, offering money. I reached out to them. That said, all three of these companies have improved by leaps and bounds in the past 5-6 years. Competition breeds success. And no, the USCCA is not perfect. There we...

Suggestions for Men 2

As a continuation of this post from yesterday. A man must correct a woman he loves, because, ACCOUNTABILITY. Here are some tips on how to do that without "hurting her feelings." Because women, as emotional beings, will invariably seek out a way to react emotionally to being held accountable. If you as a man fail this "shit-test," then she will not be accountable, and you will have demonstrated a chink in the armor of your ability to lead.  First, you must approach this as though you are speaking with a child who is mentally about the age range of 11 - 14 or so. This author uses that as a default when dealing with women. The VERY FEW women who are mentally AND emotionally able to communicate at an age range above that are also immediately understanding when you start that way - no explanation will be necessary. They know most of their peers operate in that mentality.  Second, you must explain to them first, in very plain language, what you are doing and what you ar...

Suggestions for Men

From this post yesterday,  "Men, stop enabling chaos. If a woman rejects correction, walk away. She’s not ready for accountability, and without accountability no love." Powerful statement.  If a woman cannot accept correction, she is not coachable.  If a woman is not coachable, she is not accustomed to accountability.  You cannot teach her accountability.  Because she will not accept accountability, she will invariably bring chaos.  Men who want long term relationships invariably seek peace. Chaos is the opposite of peace.  Ironically, it is men in the "player" community who understand this best, and will not commit to a woman of chaos.  What say you? Yes, I know you can think of an exception. Once more, I'll remind you of two facts: 1. The exception proves the rule.  2. If you hear a generalization, and your first instinct is to think of an exception, that means you failed the IQ test. You demonstrate inability to think in abstract terms....

Suggestions for Women 2

Seen on social media: A MAN ONLY CORRECTS A WOMAN HE LOVES Here’s a truth many won’t admit: Men only correct the women they love. If you’re sitting back, watching a woman spiral into chaos without stepping in, you don’t love her—you’re just there for convenience. Real love isn’t about passive acceptance. It’s about stepping up, holding her accountable, and guiding her toward becoming her best self. If you’re not doing that, it’s because you either don’t care about her future or you’re too afraid to face the backlash. A man with no long-term plans for a woman will let her “do anyhow.” He’ll sit quietly while she dresses half-naked, drinks recklessly, smokes, or acts wild because he’s not invested in her future—he’s just there for the short-term thrill. He doesn’t see her as a partner; he sees her as a temporary distraction. The sad part? Many women prefer this. They mistake his silence for love, thinking his lack of guidance is acceptance. But here’s the harsh reality: a man who doesn’t...

Suggestions for Women 1

Image
Found on social media.  And, for the record, in case Blogger inexplicably removes this photo, as they have done so many times in the past, here is the transcript of the meme: "Two things that black women need to lose in order to attract quality marriage-minded men: - Lose the weight.  &  - Lose the attitude Black women are disproportionately obese and are known for being attitudinal & difficult. The good news is that these are fixable problems." Of note: these things are certainly true of other women of all races, particularly Western women. However, the meme correctly points out that black women have these problems disproportionately. For example, of white women, the only ones that exhibit these choices on a mass scale are Liberal women. Conservative women tend to avoid these choices more often.  What say you? Yes, I know you can think of an exception. Once more, I'll remind you of two facts: 1. The exception proves the rule.  2. If you hear a generaliz...
