Accountability

This video on the actions and penalties of a Utah woman is fascinating. The woman, Ida Ann Lorenzo, 48, pulled down the skirt of a 19-year-old woman. Lorenzo claimed later she did so because the skirt was so short and the other woman's "private parts" were showing. Lorenzo called the police, and told her side of the story. And, after some time, the police charged her. Lorenzo pleaded no contest to misdemeanor sexual battery for her actions. Lorenzo also lost her job due to her actions.

Watch the videos, and you will quickly see that Lorenzo is a classic "Karen."

One might ask what would possess a person to do this. Fair question. It is clear from the beginning, that Lorenzo's claim of trying to make the other woman aware of common decency is clearly NOT the real reason. It is this author's opinion that there are several things at play here.

First - it seems that Lorenzo was likely offended at the looks of the 19-year-old woman. That likely set her off into a fit of rage. Lorenzo was, according to one report, on a date, and perhaps her date noticed the younger, more attractive female.

Second - it is clear that Lorenzo has never been held accountable for her actions in her life. She is accustomed to getting her way. Well, she made the cardinal mistake of speaking to police, and that will never help you get your way!

Third - even if she were "enforcing" her own personal decency standards onto another person, that is action that is not well received these days. This is what leads me to believe she has never been held accountable for her actions.
