Karen Speak

 



"I am never going to recommend you again!"

One of those phrases uttered almost exclusively by Karens, that customer service persons, managers, and business owners know will not harm their business one iota. Because if the Karen ever actually did recommend them, it would probably not have resulted in business in the first place. And they probably did not recommend them to begin with.

  1. Trust me- there are many businesses out there whose employees, and owners, are greasing the rails to failure by their lack of basic competence. These are the ones who appear on "Bar Rescue" and "Kitchen Nightmares" and a variety of other such shows, and they NEVER have any idea why people will not put up with poor products an poor service - heck, they have no idea that what they offer is poor! Today, even well established companies suffer from employees who , not only fail to "go the extra mile", but do not have the will to do their jobs with anything resembling proficiency . When I have a failed attempt to do business with such a place, I take time and care to do an honest review so others may judge for themselves whether them wish to give them a try.
