Along with a chest rig, many Modern Minutemen wear a battle belt. This is one example.
This Rifleman has flashlights and tools on the chest rig, so a simple duty belt suffices. To the Rifleman's right is the Sig P226 pistol. This pistol has 20-round magazines, extended hand grips (protecting from magazine "bite"), and Trijicon night sights. To the Rifleman's left are two spare 20-round mags. In the rear is a dump pouch.
This Rifleman wishes to add one or two AR15 mag holders to the rig, just to make entry possible on recon missions (running light without the full chest rig).
For a budget belt I use an old ALICE web belt I've had for years. I have a Safariland holster, double pistol mag pouch, double rifle mag pouch and an IFAK
