Observed several times during this past Christmas season:
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it.
Then why on Earth would I say "Merry Christmas" instead?
- I am not politically correct, and the statement in question is.
- I would rather everyone have a Merry Christmas... not just Christians or those who otherwise celebrate Christmas. Everyone.
It's kind of like saying "if you're Christian, have a great day, if not, piss off." And that would not be my intent.
Observations and reconnaissance from a liberty-loving realist in a world that despises facts as well as liberty.
