You mention your study of jiu-jitsu many times on the blog. But, from
conversations with martial artists we both know, it would seem you are quite
adept - to say the least - at forms (“kata”). What gives?

Thanks for writing. The simplest answer is this: at the time of this writing, I hold a 5th Dan in Wado-Ryu karate and 1st Dan in Kenpo karate.
