Government Intervention?

On Easter, a FB friend noted that they "wished the government hadn't made Easter be so late in April this year."

Just so you know, here is how the date for Easter is determined:
The Jewish festival Passover (originating with the Exodus from Egypt) is the festival Jesus and His disciples were celebrating when they had the Last Supper. Jesus was crucified hours later, and arose three days after His crucifixion.

So, Easter (celebration of our arisen Lord) is three days after Good Friday (the day of Jesus' crucifixion) which happened at the tail end of Passover.

Passover is determined by the Jewish Lunar calendar.
