Calvinist Corner - November 2013

Calvinism is not Biblical Doctrine. It's a human philosophy that appeals to proud-minded individuals.

Calvinists erroneously teach that free will has nothing to do with salvation. They claim that mere acceptance of the Free Gift is in itself a work. They point out, correctly, that salvation is not by works.

So let's keep this "logic" consistent...

...

The notion of having to be a believer to accept the Free Gift of Salvation. Believing is a work, if one uses the "logic" of the Calvinist. Therefore, believing would have nothing to do with salvation.

However, the Bible states on multiple occasions that believing in God is required for one to be saved. So, it becomes clear that yet again, Calvinism does not stand up to it's own set of rules, much less actual Biblical teaching.
