Forced Starvation?

From the Divorce hearing:

Attorney: "[Dependopotamus], you testified earlier that your husband 'prevented you from eating' while you were pregnant?"

Dependopotamus: "Yes. He did."

Atty: "What did your husband do for work while you were pregnant?"

Dependopotamus: "He worked in IT at a company that did medical charts."

Atty: "What was his work schedule?"

Dependopotamus: "Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm."

Atty: "And how exactly did he keep you from eating during those eight hours each day?"

Dependopotamus: "I, uhh... he, ummm..."

Atty: "And is this a photograph of you in January of 2008, when you would have been six or seven months pregnant?"
(hands her a photo)

Dependopotamus: "Yes."

Atty: "Your Honor, I'd like the photograph to be entered into evidence. (approved) [Dependopotamus], what size clothing did you wear at this time."

Dependopotamus: "18 or 20, I think."

Atty: "18 or 20, in regular women's sizing?"

Dependopotamus: "Yes. Depending on the maker, of course."

Atty: "18 or 20 is usually called 'plus size' in women's clothing, isn't it?"

Dependopotamus: "Usually. Yes."

Atty: "What did you weigh at the time?"

Dependopotamus: "About 240 or 250 pounds."
Atty: "Ever seen a starving African that wore a size 20, and weighed 250 pounds?"

Dependopotamus: "Well... I, uh... No. I don't think so."
