Fail on both sides of the coin

Link to article where Eric Holder explains that the Obama administration is in favor of reenacting the "assault weapons ban."

Now, we all know already that there is no such thing as a semi-automatic assault weapon. But let's gloss over that for a moment.


Fail #1:
Such a ban is simply a ban due to appearance of the firearm. Not because of any additional lethality.
But Democrats are always biased on looks. Particularly when it comes to people.

Fail #2:
It was Holder's Justice department that funneled thousands of guns to foreigners and illegals in an illegal manner - which resulted in the death of at least one Border Patrol agent, as well as hundreds of Mexicans.
