Rifle & Pistol Quals

Every 3% group has it's own rifle and/or handgun qualification standard. Or, at least, they ought to. Here is one of the toughest around:

Pistol
Draw & fire - par of 2 seconds.  3x
Draw & double tap - par of 3 seconds.  3x
Draw & Mozambique - par of 4 seconds.  3x
Four positions (kneeling, rollover prone left & right, supine) in 15 seconds.
10 shots, 2 minutes.

Rifle
Ready up - par of 2 seconds.  3x
Ready up and double tap - par of 3 seconds.  3x
Ready up and Mozambique - par of 4 seconds. 3x
Trident.
Fundamental Marksmanship challenge.

Targets
For draw & fire, 4 positions, and ready ups is IDPA target 0 and -1 scoring areas.
Trident and 10 shots is a paper plate.
Fundamental Marksmanship challenge is 300m zero targets.

Distance
Fundamental Marksmanship challenge - 25m.
Trident - 18 yards.
7 yards for all others. 

Time
Over time = fail for all but Trident.

Scoring
Trident and Fundamental Marksmanship challenge = 50 points each.
All others = 1 point per hit.
Total of 150 points possible.

Qualifications
Marksman: 90 - 112
Sharpshooter:  113 - 134
Expert: 135 - 150
