Body Slam

Last week, Congressman-elect Greg Gianforte allegedly "body slammed" the Guardian’s Ben C. Jacobs. The witness, whose story seems to keep changing, indicated Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck and slammed him.

If true, this means that Gianforte did not body slam the #fakenews dolt. It would be more correctly termed a choke slam.

Jeb! Bush recently went on the record stating that he feels President Trump should stop tweeting.  Also, Bush indicated that he "told you so" that Trump would be a "chaos President."

Translation into normal English -

What the political establishment sees as chaos, I see as a businessman running at half-speed to make sure everything gets done correctly.  Imagine if Trump were running full speed? Also, the only chaos beyond this is that which is fraudulently inserted by the #fakenews... so why bother with even considering it?

Qual Time!

Your Militia / 3% / Oath Keeper / Patriot Group needs to know how to shoot straight.

Here's a good course of fire to help you gauge your skills:


Put up an Army 300m zero target.
2 targets per shooter.

90 second time limit.
Use your AR as you carry it.

You may use a bipod - if you always carry a bipod. If the bipod is in your rucksack, you must start the course of fire with the bipod detached and attach it first if you wish to use it. The rifle must be unloaded while you put the bipod on.

You may use your rucksack as a rest.
You may use your magazine as a rest.

If you use a loop sling or hasty sling, you must put it on during the 90 second shooting period with your rifle unloaded.

You may load a single mag with 10 rounds, or two mags with 5 rounds each.


Course of fire:
90 seconds.
5 shots on each target.


Scoring:
Shots inside the circle = 5 points
Shots in the black = 4 points.
Shots off target = 0 points.

A shot touching two or three scoring areas receives the higher (highest) score.

In the event that more than 5 shots are fired on a target for any reason, the lowest 5 shots on a target are the ones scored.


Qualification
29 - 37 points = Marksman
38 - 44 points = Sharpshooter
45 - 50 points = Expert Rifleman

Peaceful Solution

I would prefer a peaceful solution.  The more I see from the Left, the Establishment Republicans, the #fakenews , and the Deep State, the more I realize that an acceptable peaceful solution might not exist.

The only "peace" their side will accept is total subjugation... slavery.  Subjugation is not acceptable; and in the end, it's never peaceful.

I would prefer a peaceful solution,  but I am prepared for the other.   If there must be war, let it be in my time that my children may have peace.  

DM Extras

As DM for your fire team, you need to pack a few extra items, and make a few considerations for your combat and recon patrols. 

It is wise to select an assault pack like the one pictured. This pack has a groove between pouches.  A good DM will rest his rifle in this groove for added stability for long range shots.

Carry your rifle with precision ammo in the mag. This is assuming your load out contains entry ammo and precision ammo.  If possible,  all ammo should be of a precision variety, but that can be cost - prohibitive. Unless your patrol will almost immediately take you to an entry type situation, use the precision ammo mag... you may be called on to take a snap shot at a target of opportunity with narry a moment's notice!

While you will not be filling a true sniper role, you might be called on for overwatch duties or similar.  Carry some of the tools of the trade:
* hatchet / saw, or similar. 
* sniper veil.
* extra shemagh.
* shooting sock.
* bipod.
* binoculars or spotting scope.
* range finder.

It would be wise to carry the binoculars and range finder on your rig instead of your pack.  One never knows when you might need these in a hurry.  

Minuteman Automatic Rifleman

Recently, the US Marine Corps made the decision to switch away from a belt fed automatic rifle and they adopted the M27. As usual, there will be a transition period.

Which brings up the point - what is a Patriot survivalist team to do about having an automatic rifleman? The automatic rifleman is the cornerstone around which the infantry fire squad is built. But automatic weapons are heavily regulated here in the Land of the Free (?).

Here is one potential solution...

The Rifle
Start with a regular heavy barrel AR build, but put a gas piston system on it.
Make sure it is free floated (mind the rail, some don't work with piston systems).
Install a double firing trigger - like the Fostech Echo trigger.
Make sure to top it off with an ACOG, Aimpoint, or similar for maximum effect.

The Loadout
The Minuteman Automatic Rifleman could carry 100 round drum mags for full effect.
At least 300 rounds, and preferably 500.

The Automatic Rifleman
The Minuteman Automatic Rifleman should be an expert rifleman on a semi auto. If he isn't, do you really want him laying down suppressive fire? He should train with his rifle system so as to be able to lay down accurate fire, even at an accelerated rate.

Wing Chun in MMA

Q - Why don't you see many Wing Chun techniques or practitioners in MMA?

Several reasons, among them -

Defense
Wing Chun defense is predicated on blocks.  Blocks just don't work often enough because of the power and speed of a real opponent.  Footwork and distancing are far more effective at keeping a person safe.   Wing Chun, as a rule, does not teach much with regards to good footwork and distancing. 

Offense
Wing Chun offense is centered around straight blast punching and kicking. While these techniques can be quite practical, the combinations offered in WC are lacking overall.  Combine with seriously subpar footwork and distancing and it's a recipe for disaster.  

Also, in close fighting, straight punches are often rendered ineffective by the opponent's guard position.  Hooks and uppercuts reign supreme.  These are often glossed over or ignored completely in WC.

Silence What?

Of course the President does not wish to silence the press, but McMuffin knows this.

If, however, we are speaking of ABCNNBCBS, then to silence them is not at all a silencing of the press. These outlets are #fakenews - "entertainment" only.  They are not press outlets as they refuse to report facts.   To silence them would not be a violation of freedom of press.

If Trump is the billionaire Alpha Male, then Soros is the billionaire Gamma Male. His paid "protests" and civil unrest have accomplished little other than to strengthen the Trump base.

Fake polls are still fake.
Lefty states that polls are usually +20 points for the political left. Bill Mitchell will quote +7 to +8 points in favor of the political left. Both men are right often enough for a smart person to use them as a gauge. So when polls say Trump's approval rating is around 50%, you can bet it is closer to 57% - 70%. Truly unprecedented.

The Republicans are the enemy, too.
Everyone knew this. Trump simply has the balls to show it.
