Seems that the Congress has made a deal to pass an extension of the Bush tax cuts.
Except for those earning $200K per year.

Looks like the entire package of tax cuts was extended for 2 years. And unemployment extended for 13 more months.
Not a win at all.
The tax cuts need to be permanent, and unemployment is too long as it is.

ReplyDeleteI agree that the Bush tax cuts ought to be made permanent, including abolition of the death tax. However, keep in mind that the 2-year extension is being done with the GOP still as the minority party in D.C. I never thought the Democrats would agree to do this. Two years will hopefully get us to the next GOP administration.
