Fail is strong with this one...
I am about to direct you to an article that is fairly inaccurate.
Link.
For my reader's information - there is no 45-mm handgun in existence... that I know of. There are several .45 calibers - .45 ACP, .45 GAP, .45 Long Colt to name a few.
45 millimeters is nearly two inches. The law currently disallows any commercial firearm to have a caliber (diameter) greater than .5 inches - .50 caliber.
Perhaps the author felt guns are to "icky" to research enough to write an accurate account of.
The worst part is later in the article, a .45 caliber handgun is correctly written as such. This means the editor failed, as well.
