Enforcing Tyranny

As Canada moves into martial law via their "Emergencies Act," this post was found on social media.  There are a few takeaways here:

1. It is surprising that a conservative actually has the gumption to point this out.  Most are mindlessly bootlicking.

2. Most police have already made up their mind.  They will follow orders.  They are specifically selected for their tendencies to do so regardless of what is right.  At least, this is how US Police are.  The presumption this author makes is that Canadian Police are selected in a substantially similar way.

  1. Cops are good... until they're not. When they become criminals out to do me harm, they will be treated accordingly by whatever means necessary.

    1. And those cops that do not actively attempt to stop the bad ones, are also bad. And should be dealt with by the exact same means.

  2. I think alot of good cops have either gotten out or moved to other departments.

Assume any urban core is with out rule if law and that police are only about enforcement and the DAs are only about maintaining their idea of order.

    1. That is correct! Good cops get out or move into positions where they have less effect on the public. It exacerbates the problem.

And if cops are bad, DAs and ADAs are much worse. And have more stringent quotas.

And judges are worse yet, than that.
