Add this (overheard from someone who either has zero martial arts knowledge, or very little) to the growing list of stupid things that people outside the martial arts say about martial artists:

I have respect for Greg Jackson, but he ruined Jon Jones. He made Jones too tentative. He made Jones think too much. Jones used to react and demolish people. Now it's like he's not aggressive enough.

Folks, Greg Jackson is the reason Jon Jones has continued to have success.

This author has many preppers for friends, due to obvious reasons . One of the topics that comes up often is comms in an emergency situation. I have decided the hill I will stop on is local comms - as can be had via normal handheld walkies or similar. To get more range, ham radio is about the only civilian option, and I will NOT be going that way.  It is a protest.
