So I was talking to Right Minded today, and I had seen a video of crayons getting shot. I promised him a post on it. However, I cannot for the life of me find the video of the crayons getting shot (if you read this, and know where one is, send it, please).

What I found when looking was a neat tutorial. I have tried a similar method, using crayon to fill in recesses carved in on a gun. Results look pretty good.

This author has many preppers for friends, due to obvious reasons . One of the topics that comes up often is comms in an emergency situation. I have decided the hill I will stop on is local comms - as can be had via normal handheld walkies or similar. To get more range, ham radio is about the only civilian option, and I will NOT be going that way.  It is a protest.
