Non-gun person at a carry permit class

Fun story from South Carolina.

Either we just got a good dose of what somebody feels like when they are not a gun-nut (yet), or one reported had a very crafty way of getting her newspaper to pay for her concealed carry permit in South Carolina.

Either way, it is a good read and I suggest it for all those who are not as "into" guns as I am.

This author has many preppers for friends, due to obvious reasons . One of the topics that comes up often is comms in an emergency situation. I have decided the hill I will stop on is local comms - as can be had via normal handheld walkies or similar. To get more range, ham radio is about the only civilian option, and I will NOT be going that way.  It is a protest.
