Senator Harry Reid made some racially unacceptable comments on then-candidate Obama back in 2008.

Yet, MSNBC refrains from reporting until today. Link.

Why is that? (rhetorical question)

    Translation: Racism is only bad if it's Southern white racism. Everything else doesn't fit in their story.

    I'd argue, though, that this IS when it matters - it wouldn't have affected Obama's election, and Reid is up for re-election this fall . . .

This author has many preppers for friends, due to obvious reasons . One of the topics that comes up often is comms in an emergency situation. I have decided the hill I will stop on is local comms - as can be had via normal handheld walkies or similar. To get more range, ham radio is about the only civilian option, and I will NOT be going that way.  It is a protest.
