So I told my wife that our marriage isn’t the right fit for me anymore when she took sex off the table.

Men,

Women are the gatekeepers of sex, MEN are the gatekeepers of marriage. 
There is no benefit for a Western Man to get married. 
Marriage laws and the courts are 100% against you. 

Marriage in the West is a financial contract where the female is incentivized to break the contract.
Western marriage is not Biblical marriage. 
No, you did not find the woman who is the rare exception. 

All alimony is redistribution of wealth. 
All child support is redistribution of wealth. 
Redistribution of wealth is not Biblical. 
 
80% of marriages end in divorce. 
Women initiate 80% of divorces. 
The next 80% of divorces are initiated by him because SHE cheated! 

Don't.
Get. 
Married.

Marriage is the biggest scam of the 21st Century.

    Better advice, IMO, is to choose well. Teach the next generation how to choose well and be married for a long, wonderful, fulfilling time. The book of proverbs is a good place to start.

      It is foolhardy to enter into a financial contract hoping you selected the person who represents the less than 1% chance...

      Proverbs 27:12 (NIV): "A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences."

A Few Updates on an Older Post

This post to serve as an update on a post that is over 10 years old. The Rifleman has a strong memory (from time to time). On that post, a reader asked, "Any word? How did the remand hearing go?" For reasons that are not pertinent to this post, the Rifleman did not neglect to answer this question, but instead, postponed the answer until a more appropriate time. This time has come.  In the remand, it is important to first state a particular fact: The judge that issued the ruling, Tom Gray, retired shortly after his errant ruling. As a matter of fact, four of his last five rulings (the author's brother's ruling being one of these) were overturned in appellate courts. Divorce ruling appeal successful . False Arrests

A Tennessee State Trooper has arrested (at least) 8 SOBER people for DUI.  Here is a YouTube video on the false arrest.  Here is a video on the issue by Steve Lehto.  There are several questions that come to mind here.  1. How many more people were falsely arrested by this trooper? 2. How many people have been falsely arrested by other troopers in a similar manner?  3. Why has the Tennessee Highway Patrol not already fired this trooper, and made a public statement distancing themselves from this practice? 4. Why does Governor Lee refuse to acknowledge the problem? Is he simply unaware?  5. Was it just this trooper and just his ego?  6. Were quotas at the root of this problem?  That last question is the one I am most curious about.  Of course, someone will invariably come along and make the claim that since Tennessee has banned quotas by law enforcement departments, that there are simply no quotas being enforced.
