Honest Question 2

For those of you who are conservative, yet plan to vote for Mitt Romney, I have an honest question:

Based on the presumption that you are in favor of the Second Amendment, how do you plan to vote for Romney in good conscience, knowing that he is anti-gun by his own admission?

  1. I do plan on voting for Romney or rather I plan on voting against Barack Obama.

First that is a decade old video. I don't know if his position has truly changed or not (probably not) but shouldn't we give him the benefit of the doubt?

I know I certainly don't always want to be held to something I said 10 years ago. We have to allow people to change and grow.

2nd I think Fast and Furious demonstrates Obama's true nature; dishonest, scheming and willing to break laws in order to get what he wants.

I may not trust Romney but I shudder to think of what Obama will do with an unencumbered 2nd term.

It is unfortunate there are no good choices at the Presidential level so we have to vote for the one least likely to be damaging.

  2. Bob, thank you as always for reading and commenting.

Romney only joined the NRA the day before he announced plans to run for President in 2008. Not quite a decade old.

I do not trust any "change of position" from a career politician.

I will politely disagree that Romney will be less damaging. More to come on that this week :)
